The Harley-Davidson "Mystique"
Riding is all about passion and there's no shortage of it as Joker writes about the rides, the people, the joy, and the tears.

From the contemplations about his next motorcycle to his adventures with Blackstone Valley HOG its always an interesting read and updated regularly!

Christines Corner
The Rainbow Wahine has been a long time friend of Clutch and Chrome.

But its not just the refreshingly different and continuous blogging she has managed to squeeze in between the amazing number of miles ridden. Reading her blog is as enjoyable today as it was all those years ago some of the staff first discovered her little corner on the internet.

The Ride Report
The world of motorcycles is a small one, with surprises bouncing around the office when we found out this blogger was a long time friend of Asia, one of the staff at Clutch and Chrome!

The blog is written with wit on a variety of personal topics from the view of a rider facing the hostile streets of Los Angeles. Most recent post 'Code of the road', must read for all bikers.

Check it out!

Motorcycle Views Blog
A former writer from About.com's motorcycle page, Walter Kern regularly publishes motorcycle recall information as well as insightful stuff that takes a closer look at the history behind our two-wheeled wonders.

Good read!

Crusty the Biker
Any blog that has a Dummies book titled Crusty's wisdom for Bikers has to be funny right? A third generation biker, current motorcycle mechanic and blogger who writes things as he see's them.

Fun to read and leaves you with something to think about.

Biker Chickz Blog
Looking back over all the blogs highlighted since creating the Blog of the Week feature, we realized there was something tragically missing. A blog written by a female rider!

This was easily remedied with a recent addition to the directory, Biker Chickz Blog written by a woman who loves to write as much as she does ride!

Road Captain USA
Anyone who has ridden in a group ride knows the road captain can make or break the ride. Jay Green wears the cyber role well with his blog, pointing out points of interest with books, blogs and videos as well as dispensing some motorcycle advice along the way.

A great read and updated regularly!

Northwest Harley Blog
The blog is kept current and the the blogs author Mac obviously loves to ride and it shows. Focusing on motorcycle related news and events for the Northwest part of the United States, the blog is always an enjoyable read.

Hawg Blog
It's bandwagon that corporations of varying sizes jumped on, produce a blog and cash in on the internets new found craze. Guerilla marketing some experts called it. Unfortunately that brought about a bunch of blogs that rehash old news cut and past from other websites.

Not Hawg Blog. Produced by the owners of D&S Harley-Davidson in Phoenix, Oregon, the blog features original stories and posts about why bikers love to ride.

Although a little sparse on entries, we hope this nomination of Blog of the Week encourages them to write some more! In the meantime, enjoy the gems they have posted.

Hard Ride
The blog's author, Uglicoyote comes across as the everyday true-blue biker found at your favorite bike night. A husband, father, grandfather, teacher, poet, Buddhist and Viet-Nam vet his posts range from funny, to poetic and all the way to angry. We were pleased to read he had even picked up on and given other bikers a way to act on the recent badgering of bikers in Delray Beach, Florida as reported on Clutch and Chrome.

There may be a few days between posts, but it's probably because he's out riding, and that's all right by us!

Tilted Horizons
From the icon the blog author, Doug just Doug, uses to represent himself to his quirky but funny adventures and subject matter, this is the biker blog version of NPR's Ira Glass' This American Life.

September 12th had an entry listing what he had hit while riding (squirrels, bats and brake calipers) and Wednesday the 19th featured Cat crap anti-fog treatment for the visor.

Its a must read around the Clutch and Chrome offices!
