Pedrosa wins latest in motorcycle racing series

The battle
wasn't for first place in the latest edition of the MotoGP
motorcycle racing series, but was fought for second.
Dani Pedrosa took his lead on the first corner in the
Catalunya MotoGP leaving Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi
fighting for second place. With two laps left he found a way
past Stoner and held on for second spot.
At one point
Pedrosa lead the other riders by a comfortable eight
seconds.
The race
brought Pedrosa closer to Rossi in the overall standings,
but the two have left the rest of the field behind with 48
points separating first and third position.
