OCC builds custom motorcycle for Sikorsky Aircraft
The Staff of Clutch and Chrome

Two legendary
names, one from the motorcycle world and the other from the
aircraft industry, teamed up to celebrate decades of
choppers with a chopper.
Last Friday Paul Teutul
Sr. rode a custom Orange County Chopper inspired by Sikorsky
Aircraft Corp onto a stage at the famous helicopter
manufacturers Connecticut headquarters. The custom-designed
motorcycle was built by Orange County Choppers as a tribute to Sikorsky's culture of innovation, dynamic workforce, and support of community organizations and charities.
Over 5,000 employees
were at the unveiling of the motorcycle, commissioned by
Sikorsky back in April, and the chopper is expected to make an
appearance at the company's annual Motorcycle Ride and
Classic Car Show, scheduled for Sept. 14.
"This was a fantastic build," Tuetul said
as he addressed the crowd,
"Sikorsky builds great products that support our troops and
save lives. This bike pays tribute to that mission and the
employees who build these products."
The Learning Channel will broadcast an episode featuring the Sikorsky motorcycle this fall
on the television series, American Chopper. |
