A British Lord, motorcycle stunts and an English manor

A breathtaking series of motorcycle stunts filmed inside a
17th century stately British home has become a huge European
hit on YouTube.
A British Lord and motorcycle enthusiast threw open the
doors to his stately home in West Sussex to 12 time world
trials champion
Dougie Lampkin who stunts his way through
the English manor.
Several cameras were used, including one mounted in
Lampkin's helmet giving a riders view as he roars through a
large library, up a sweeping staircase, past a bedroom and
around a boardroom.
And there were no trick shots, it was all done mostly
in one take
Motor racing enthusiast Lord March threw open the doors to
Goodwood House in West Sussex for the four-minute film.
Lampkin, 32, walked the "course" first to work out how to
ride the motorcycle around the house without damaging the
walls, floors and furniture.
For the climax, Lampkin negotiates a spiral staircase, then
scales a ladder to the roof of the country home where a
butler serves him a glass of chilled champagne as he looks
out over the 11,000-acre estate.
The stunt was organized to promote Dougie Lampkins surprise
appearance during the
Festival of Speed, a key event in the British motor sport social calendar.
