For this motorcycle I thee wed

Although not a question pondered by bikers in the western world, riders in India have to ask themselves, 'Would I get married for a motorcycle?'

An Agricultural Minister from Gadhakota in Sagar district in India is promising to gift a motorcycle to every couple married during a mass marriage function on December 1st.

Although motorcycles weren't the gifts given, the minister had 700 married under his supervision Sunday, receiving domestic use items and gifts.

Before American would-be bikers start eyeing up Indian brides, bear in mind the motorcycle market in India consists mostly of smaller sized engines and even scooters which are used for everyday transport, both for business as well as family.

The Agricultural Minister, Mr. Gopal Bhargava has set a target to get 2,000 couples married during December.
