Honda To Show Updated Production Models and Concept Motorcycles

An interesting peek into the world of motorcycle manufacturer Honda will take place over several shows in Japan starting this weekend.

Honda will exhibit motorcycle models spanning several categories at the 32nd Osaka Motorcycle Show 2016 from Saturday, March 19 to Monday, March 21 at Intex Osaka, and the 43rd Tokyo Motorcycle Show from Friday, March 25 to Sunday, March 27 at Tokyo Big Sight.

A total of 21 models will be exhibited at the motorcycle shows, some concept with others being production bikes, although not all are available in North America. These shows allow riders to see in which direction Honda feels the motorcycle world is riding towards. Case in point, the new smaller urban motorcycle.

Honda is highlighting its Grom during these shows, possibly in response to Kawasaki releasing its Z125 Pro at Daytona Bike week. Although Honda’s Grom has been in showrooms for some time, both it and Kawasaki’s Z125 Pro are on the smaller size both physically as well as powerhouse wise and is targeted at urban riders who are facing limited storage space and short city commutes.

The Grom being shown by Honda will feature a revitalized exterior design to enhance active appearance.

Among the concept motorcycles being shown, the Concept CB which will see the world premiere of the Concept CB Type II. Also promised, a completely new adventure concept model ‘bringing the spirit of adventure to city riding’ Honda states.
