At 3,000 square meters, the Ducati Flagship Store Indonesia is situated in Jakarta and opened last year by Aruba.it Racing Ducati Superbike Team star, Chaz Davies.
This fact came out after Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali flew to Indonesia and visited the Ducati Flagship Store. Fortunately, Domenicali was in the area having recently been awarded his position as Honorary Investment Advisor to the Thai Board of Investment in Bangkok as well as meeting the Thai Prime Minister.
On hand to welcome the Italian executive at the world’s largest Ducati dealership was PT Garansindo Euro Sports, Ducati’s Official Importer to Indonesia. This is the first time such a visit has taken place in the 15 years Ducati has been sold in Indonesia, and according to the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, was in appreciation of the significant progress Ducati has made in the country.
“Our importer in Indonesia, PT Garansindo Euro Sports, has done a superb job of interpreting Ducati brand values”, said Claudio Domenicali at the Meet-and-Greet event held today at the Ducati Flagship Store Indonesia. “The Jakarta showroom presents our products as true works of art in a well thought-out, decidedly premium setting. Plenty of space, a multi-floor display, attention to detail, the exhibition of vintage bikes, an entire floor dedicated to the Scrambler, welcome areas and a top-notch Service area make this store one of the best in the world”.
The casual event, which also featured live music and a barbecue, welcomed local Ducati communities such as the DDOCI and DSO Ducati Owners Clubs, in addition to local media covering the event. Reportedly, Domenicali received a warm welcome from everyone, including the Indonesian Ducatisti, who have always been enthusiastic involved in activities organized by Ducati Indonesia.
"Ducati Asia are delighted that Mr. Domenicali has taken time from his busy schedule to visit Indonesia today,” said Marco Biondi, Regional Sales & Marketing Director Asia. “After just one year we are very proud to see the world’s largest Ducati store here in Asia and we are also very happy to see the brand growing so strongly across Indonesia. The support today from the Ducati Owners Clubs and fans shows the level of passion here and we look forward to a very successful future.”
