Buffalo Chip - Making a Motorcycle Rally About Motorcycles

Motorcycle rallies are supposed to be about, well, motorcycles. The Buffalo Chip knows this and have lined up seven free bike shows for attendees to take in at this year’s Sturgis Rally.

Flashy chrome, crazy customization, new-tech engineering and old-school horsepower will all be on display at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip in August when seven distinct bike shows make the venue the ‘Bike Show Capital of the World’.

The motorcycle shows, scheduled to take place Saturday, August 5th through Friday, August 11th, will give participants in most shows the opportunity to win prizes ranging from cold, hard cash to custom trophies. The bike shows, all slated to present various makes, models and customs, are open and free for public viewing.

Shows slated at the Buffalo Chip in 2017 include:

Running throughout the rally, the show can be found at the Buffalo Chip Events Center near East Gate

Open and Free to the Public, the motorcycle show is curated by famed motorcycle photographer, Michael Lichter, forty builders under 36 years of age have accepted the challenge to build a custom motorcycle masterpiece especially for the 2017 exhibit.
