April saw the sales of Triumph motorcycles rise to a market leading growth of 31 percent over last year and also puts Triumph as the top selling European brand in the on-highway category through the first four months of 2016.
‘Thanks to the incredible hard work of Triumph dealers, combined with the launch of the new Bonneville family and the success of the Bonneville Reborn Tour, Triumph is the top selling European brand in North America,’ a press release marking the sales success notes.
The results are based upon motorcycle sales in the on-highway and dual-sport categories.
In a stroke of perfect timing, actor and director Edward Norton was seen on Twitter picking up his brand new Thruxton R. Norton, known for his roles in 'Fight Club','Red Dragon', 'The Illusionist', 'Moonrise Kingdom' and more recently, 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' was so excited about his new ‘modern classic’, which features a 1200cc ‘high power’ ‘Thruxton spec’ engine, the actor posted on his new ride on his own Twitter account.

The new Triumph Bonneville motorcycle family consists of the Street Twin, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R. These five bikes were developed from the ground up with three new Bonneville engines and all-new chassis and suspensions, to provide the optimal modern classic riding experience.

Obviously sensing its motorcycle momentum, Triumph have promised the recently announced Tiger Explorer 1200 range will see an early release and be available to fill presold deposits by the end of the month. The Explorer family consists of five models to choose from, each with state-of-the-art rider focused technology and promise more torque, power and performance provide the ultimate transcontinental adventure motorcycle.
