It appears plans are coming together for the ninth edition of World Ducati Week. The event will take place from July 1 to 3, 2016 at the ‘Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli’ and as if more reasons were needed for the celebrations, Ducati is marking its 90th anniversary. Advance tickets for this extraordinary event are already available and reportedly, across the globe ‘red fever’ is fueling the race to purchase passes and entry tickets, with levels of interest leading some to feel this may be a record event.

Scheduled for the evening of Saturday, July 2nd is an appearance by Italian rock icon Pelù who happens to be a passionate Ducatista. According to Ducati, not only has Pelu own a rare 1976 Scrambler 350 but it also rides a new Scrambler Sixty2 400.
The exclusive concert will be open to all WDW2016 participants, taking place at the Santamonica in Misano Adriatico stadium adjacent to the Misano World Circuit ‘Marco Simoncelli’. Pelù will be joined by guitarist James Castellano and drummer Luca Martelli.
"I am happy to play in front of this audience of fans of the Ducati myth," Pelù said, "Ducati is the stuff of rock bad boys".
One of the main sponsors of WDW2016 is Shell Advance, technical partner of the House of Ducati and will also be the 'title sponsor' of a drag race event, ‘Drag Race by Shell Advance’. Information about its product, entertainment as well as a corner dedicated to MotoGP motorcycles and autograph session with Ducati Corse riders.
