Famous And Collectable Motorcycles Ride To Auction

From a stripped down chopper that rode with outlaw bikers in the hit series ‘Sons of Anarchy’ to a chrome Bullet of Royal Enfield fame, a host of motorcycles are cruising to the auction block in Houston.

Hosted by Dan Kruse Classics, a total of six interesting motorcycles which are sure to catch a range of biker’s eyes will be up for auction at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston November 25-26. The ‘headlining’ ride is a 2005 Sucker Punch Sally Old School Chopper motorcycle from the hit television show ‘Sons of Anarchy’. When the prequel to 'Sons of Anarchy' airs, which is said to feature the Mayans, the eventually owner of this motorcycle can say they own a ride from the original gang!

Not only was the motorcycle used by the rival gang known as the Mayans in ‘Sons of Anarchy’, but was also seen on the small screen in ‘Entourage’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘CSI’, ‘Instant Recall’ and ‘The Whole Truth’ among others.

Other items considered as rare collectible motorcycles, a 1949 Harley-Davidson Custom Panhead which spent some time on tour with country singer Charlie Daniels. Proving the current popular trend of off-road as well as on on-road motorcycles isn’t necessarily new, a 1978 Suzuki 370 Dual Purpose model as well as a very rare 1978 Hodaka 250 Dual Purpose Sport motorcycle.

Rounding out the auction’s two-wheeled offerings, a 2012 Royal Enfield Moto Bullet and a 2014 CVO Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle.

For those also interested in classics on four wheels, a 1957 Porsche Speedster 356 replica roadster powered by a 911 2.2L Porsche engine is also featured at the auction. The vintage Speedster is powered by a Porsche power plant, 4 wheel disc brakes, Fuch style 15” wheels, heated seats, wood style steering wheel and convertible top. It is finished in classic Porsche racing silver with a tasteful rear deck badging of “Stuttgart” and “Porsche 356 Registry.”  Beautiful grey carpet interior and Sony Pandora and Bluetooth. The frame is custom built, jig welded, and has a 2 x 4 inch 11-gauge steel frame.

Dan Kruse Classics will also offer over 75 vehicles and a vast array of classic car collectibles including tin signs, porcelain signs, gas pump globes, oil racks and even a custom built Ford Pick Up custom bar. A complete list of everything being offered along with a description, why each item is considered a classic and even some pictures, head over the auction house's website.
