One motorcycle legacy works with another as Indian looks to the latest Munro to pay tribute to a land speed record immortalized by an equally famous feature film.

Being the world’s fastest female motorcycle racer has its privileges. For Valerie Thompson this means being the first woman appointed to the Bonneville 200 MPH Club Board of Directors.

The efforts by Triumph Motorcycles to reclaim the motorcycle land speed record throughout 2016 is brought together in a forty-five minute television show airing tonight on the Velocity network.

The first day of September marked an award-winning record and new title as Valerie Thompson earned the moniker of world’s fastest female motorcycle racer at the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials.

Setting world records is never an easy matter, but Triumph feels it’s coming to the end of a long ride in its goal of setting a land speed record.
