Vega's VR1 Modular Helmet Is Light And Affordable

The latest product from Vega Helmet is modular, affordable and lighter than any other model previously produced.

First manufacturing helmets in 1994, Vega’s all new VR1 Modular Helmet should be quieter as well, promising to its most aerodynamic product.

The helmet has a convenient, easy-to-use drop down internal sun-shield and also comes with the all new sure seal shield system for 2017, designed to eliminate air and water leaks. Weighing in at 3.6lbs, this helmet is light for such a large shell. The shell also comes standard with predrilled speaker holes in the shell for easy communication system installation.

Vega Helmets manufactures its helmets in its factory located in Ningbo China where they control the quality and safety of everything that goes into their products. According to the company, new helmets are continuously tested during the design process and results are confirmed by internationally known independent testing labs.

This could be one of the reasons the new VR1 Modular Helmet enjoys a five year manufacturer’s warranty. Helmet warranties are interesting things and explained in deeper detail here.

With a MSRP of $169.99, four colors are available, gloss black, matte black, pearl white and an all new matte titanium in sizes XS thru 2XL.
